Directions to Hoop De Doo?

Hi there. Could anyone please give me advice, directions on the easiest, quickest way to get to the HDDR dinner show? We are staying at POR and have a reservation for the 7:15p show in a few weeks...Any tips, experiences would be appreciated, thanks!

Head to the MK from POR and take a boat to FW. If you are at a park that day just hop on the FW bus from the park. You may need to take an internal bus over to pioneer hall from where the park bus drops you off at FW. If you don't want to worry about that, just take the boat and you'll be dropped off a short walk away from Pioneer hall. If you decide to come from the magic kingdom I would try and be at the boat dock around 6:30 to be sure you get there in time (in case you miss a boat and have to wait 20min for another one).

If you had a car, it is probably a 4 minute ride to the front of FW. (take a right out of POR, when the road ends, take a left, the first driveway on your right is a golf course, the second right is the parking lot to FW) You then would take an internal bus to get to the Settlement where Pioneer Hall and HDDR is located.

If you are planning on leaving from a park to HDDR, either MK or MGM would be the park to do that day. MK has a boat that goes to FW and lets you off 5 minutes from Pioneer Hall.

The other option is MGM. The bus to FW drops you off at the Settlement.

After HDDR, there SHOULD be busses right at the Settlement bus stop to take you back to your resort.

In any event, allow about 45 minutes to get to HDDR from either of the above options.

If you are leaving from POR and not driving, you would need to take a bus to MK and then the boat. Figure on at least an hour to do this.

When we went to HDDR, there were special busses to/from the resort specifically for HDDR. Do they not do this anymore?

Yes, they have them FROM HDDR as long as MK is closed.

This is the first I've heard that there were busses TO HDDR.

Yes- we rode special busses both to and from the HDDR from the Polynesian, but this was some years ago.
