Directions to cheap/good/authentic Disney Outlets near WDW?...

I used to have driving directions to the *good* Disney Outlets, but can't seem to find them...and yes, I really did do a search here on The DIS. But I must not be putting the the best words in the site search engine .

Anyway, I would like driving directions from the DTD area to your favorite Disney Outlet. We'll be staying at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress right next to DTD. In all our trips we haven't made it to any of the really good outlets and this trip I'd like to. I'm not much of a shopper, but we have all gotten into pin trading in a big way (heheheh, my DH has indeed come to the Dark Side) & I understand that the better outlets will sometimes have reasonably-priced pins. I can't even quite remember the names of the stores(Character Premiere might be one?) & the malls/shopping centers they are in. (Someone told me that the Belz is no longer the "Belz"?)

TIA . Any up-to-date info is greatly apppreciated.

I can't help you with the directions - but I'll bump this back to page 1 for you.

Are you driving in or flying??

If you are driving, there is a "Character Premiere" store in the Belz Outlet Mall here in St. Augustine. It is @ the S.R. 16 exit off of I-95. Very visible from the Interstate.

A fair amount of pins. Some are priced regular retail, some are discounted. I do a bit of trading (not too much) & this is hwere I get some cheap pins to work with.

I'm not positive, but I think there is a Disney Outlet in the Crossroads Shopping Center on the other side of SR 535 at the north end of "Hotel Row" @ DTD.

Hey agnes! hope you're doing well. Have you checked ebay? we got into the pin trading big time last month (w/ 4 kids who wouldn't) and I needed a few to finish out some "collections" I found what I needed reasonably priced on ebay!!! It sure beat the heck out of purchasing the 4-pin packs at $22 each just to try and trade to get what we needed. Now I still have some great cast member only pins to trade when we go back.

But you might want to try posting a thread like this on the Budget Board or see if one of the mods can move this one for you. The posters there might have more information.

I already have (posted on Budget, Collectors & here on Community), but thanks for the suggestion anyway. I thougt I'd try to cast as big a net as possible.

Alrighty, going West on I-4

Exit 68 - Follow all the way around (thru the light) and you'll come across a HUGE factory outlet mall. The Disney store (character premiere) is on the other side of the food court, directly to the right.

Exit 75A - Turn right at the first light, Left at the second (onto Int. Blvd) Follow the road all the way down to the Belz Factory Outlets. YOu'll want to turn into the left hand side of the building - the right side is a strip mall outlet. There is a Disney outlet store in building 1 ( i beleive its in entrance 3) And then my favorite disney outlet store in building 2.

A closer alternative: Go on Hotel Plaza Blvd towards Goodings. At the light, turn right, then get into the left hand lane. Just after you pass under the I-4 bridge, you will turn left onto Vineland. In about a mile, the Premier Outlets will be on your right. The Character Warehouse is located near the food courts.

Another alternative is at the Lake Buena Vista Outlets. Go out 535 past the Vineland turn off above. You'll pass by the Visitana property, near the start of 417. Continue on 535 past this intersection, turn left at the next light, which should put you in the outlet center. The outlet is not the nicest, but generally has decent buys.
