Directions from airport to Bonnet Creek

Anyone know how to get from the airport??? Once we manage to make it to B C how hard is it to find our way around?

We just followed the signs to Disney World and took the Downtown Disney exit. Bonnet Creek is between Downtown Disney and Epcot (on your left). Actually it's right next to Carribean Beach resort. There is another highway exit that's right next to Bonnet Creek. We often would take that exit when we were leaving but I wasn't sure what it was when we were coming back--either exit 67 or 68.

It was very easy to get around once we were there because it's right off that main road that goes right by Downtown Disney. The only thing we would have to remember when we were returning to the park is sometimes the exit would take us straight to the Bonnet Creek entrance so we had to watch for that sign.

If you are picking up your rental car at the terminal:
Follow the signs for the SOUTH EXIT which will lead you to 417 South. Continue on 417 (there will be 2 $1 tolls) to exit 6 (Epcot/Downtown Disney/International Dr) and continue straight ahead (thru 3 traffic lights) approximately 2-3 miles. *Once on Disney property (after you go under the Disney "welcome" archway) take the 1st exit (downtown Disney) and stay in the left lane, turning left at the light onto Buena Vista Dr. At the next light turn left into the Bonnet Creek Resort. You could also take the 2nd exit after you get onto Disney property but then you would need to move over across 3 lanes to turn into the resort which can sometimes be difficult.

If picking up the car from an off-airport location:
Follow the instructions from your rental car company to get onto SR-528 West toward Disney. Continue all the way to the end and exit onto I-4 West. Continue approximately 5 miles to Exit 67 (Epcot/Downtown Disney) and proceed onto Disney property then follow the above directions startinf from the asterisk.

Thanks for the detailed directions! That has been a load on my mind, how long does it take to get there? ( from airport to BC?)


Also about how much would a cab from the Dophin to Bonnet Creek cost? Is there any way other than a cab ? I'm going to a nursing confrence and my classes will be at the Dolphin but DH and kids will already be back at the hotel for the noon break. So I know it will be easy to get to the Dolpin using Disney bus, but how do I get back to BC???

It takes about 30 minutes to get from the airport to Bonnet Creek.

We paid about $12 to $15 to take a cab from MGM to Bonnet Creek. Dolphin is about the same distance. Of course, it was Christmas Night and at park closing. They may have been charging more.

You could arrange for the resort shuttle to pick you up at MGM if you know what time your conference is over and it works out with their schedule. You could take the Swan/Dolphin boat to MGM to catch the resort shuttle.
