DirectBuy?

DH and I saw an informercial of DirectBuy and we are intrigued. We are buying a house that needs a lot of things replaced so we are looking for good deals.

However, the informercial seems too good to be true, and DH and I are a little skeptical. How much does it cost to join? Do you get the current products or overstocked/refurbished goods?

We've received an invitation to their open house, and we would like to learn more about it before we go. Will it be worth our time or shall we just stick to the traditional retail outlets?

I don't know anything about them. If you decide to go, please let us know what it is like. I have been trying to convince DH to go.

I know someone who joined. You pay a large sign up fee and then you buy everything below cost. They seem to like it.
We've never gone to an invites we have received to hear the speil. We figures it's like listening to a time share thing.
