As hubby figured out his luggage woes (they were at the airline that he was supposed to be on after his flight cancelled)--this is the story of a group who are going on a Carnival Cruise today.
They got her about 6ish last night on a direct flight from Baton Rouge on Delta. They checked in 2 hours early--and the "guess" is that they didn't have room for the luggage on the plane.
And to top it all of--it is a large group and the only luggage missing was every single piece for the bride.
Then they tell her well they have 24 hours to get it to her. Well fine and good when luggage is lost due to weather delays/flight cancellations--but come on now--how do you lose luggage for a direct flight????
They were very upset--especially since people who checked in wayyyy after them--got their luggage no problem.
I can understand taking necessities with you on the plane (I hope she had her gown with her)--but you can't take ALL of your luggage carryon.
