Direct Add-on benefits and names on deed

We're in the rofr process currently, and I had a thought regarding future plans. Our original idea is to buy the resale Akv 100 points and then add-on direct points afterward (25-30 points). This is our family contract. We will be buying more resale down the road (contract #3-4). We only put the resale contract in my husbands and my name. We were going to do the same with or direct buy so they all sync up nicely.

We have two daughters (1 and 3) and my question is how does the dvc Ap discount work when it comes to them? Do their names need to be on our direct contract for them to get the benefit? Or will it be enough that ours is and they're our children. At what age would we hit a problem?

Clearly this is a long term question but we know that whatever contract we buy direct we will never sell solely to always have the benefits (whatever they pan out to be or not). It will likely be at the poly since that is the contract my husband and I want to have as our retirement plan when the girls are grown.

I just want to know what names we need to put on our contracts. Does it need to be the four of us to make things easier? Im assuming I can still add them once we pass the rofr process.

Any help on the matter is greatly appreciated.

In FL you must be 18 years of age to be on the deed so they couldn't be added now anyway.

The AP discount will be available for them as long as they reside at your address - even if they were 50 years old. :) Usually you must be with them when they purchase or activate the AP.
