I think your DD8 will be fine! My DN would have been totally fine at around age 4 - when his favorite movie was Jurassic Park. Yes, Jurassic Park.

I don't think there will be motion sickness issues. Only you know your children, however. Maybe have DD watch the youtube about it and decide when you get there?

Just for the record, Dinosaur! is absolutely one of my favorite WDW rides! Why? Well, I love the audio, I love the ride vehicle, I love the "wind-rushing-through-my-hair" feeling I get on it, I love the adrenaline rush, and I think it's top notch! I go to AK only for EE and for D!

I don't know.....Clair Huxtable still isn't extinct so that is debatable.

We loved it, didn't feel it was loud, def not scary but fun, no motion sickness (only one that makes me sick is Mission Space), and my 5 yr old loved it. Shrug, different strokes. I say experience it for yourself and decide.

Image my kids watch it on YouTube before the trip to know what to expect. They knew, rode it, didn't like the pitch black parts. The photo, however, is worth the fear lmao.

I'm prone to motion sickness and Dinosaur has never been a problem. It is very bumpy like others have mentioned, but not in the dizzying way some other rides are.

I took my oldest daughter on it for the first time when she was five and worried during the ride. She loved it though. However, she is kind of daring and rode Expedition Everest right beforehand and loved it as well. I don't think I had that kind of fortitude when I was five, but maybe I just don't remember.

My daughter will beg to differ. I made her go on it on our first trip when she was 10 almost 11, she screamed in terror the entire time, I felt like the worst mother ever. My 8 year old was cracking up next to me over the dinosaurs. My oldest daughter is almost 23 now and still to this day will not go on Dinosaur.

My kid did the same thing on Ellen's Energy Adventure. That wasn't even on my radar of scary rides. You never can tell.
