I have a balance problem. I don't get "sick" but for instance Mr. Toad's Wild Ride will make me a bit dizzy or just off a bit. I think Dinosaur sounds so fun, but is it a real jerky motion???

You get bounced around a little. Consider it to be Star Tours with wheels. The vehicle that carries 6 people, I think, moves thru the attraction. To give you the feeling of acceleration and etc, the vehicle rocks, lurches and the like.

My family of 4 has not experienced any side affects on any of the many times that we have experienced Dinosaur.

The ride is a lot like riding down a bumpy road in a jeep with bad shocks ... a few bumps and jolts, a few (short) sudden drops, not really any sharp turns. I ended up feeling more queasy on Star Tours than I did on Dinosaur.

You get bounced around a lot. It's a small similator vehicle that runs on a track in a darkened area. The simulator is programmed with sudden stops, accelerations and it goes up and down like you are going up and down hills. Most of the changes are sudden or lurching.

I experience the exact same thing on most :hyper:  of those type of rides. On the Dinosaur ride, I hate to say it....I closed my eyes. I've never done this before, but son of a gun, it worked. I mean it seems like a waste of a ride to close my eyes doesnt it? Anyway, I got to see the scary saurs and all, but it seems the most jumpy parts of the ride coinsided with the most scary parts. Kinda like watchin a scary movie when you peak between your fingers as your clutchin your face.
I cant gar-own-tee that my method will work for you............ but most of this stuff is between the eyes and the brain anyway, just eliminate one .......I suggest leaving the brain intake tho. You still have to make it home.

Dinosaur is plenty jerky. I have the same problem as you do & I ride it with my eyes closed. If you couldn't take Mr. Toad, I don't know if I would try Dinosaur. It's way worse than Star Tours.

I've never ridden Star Tours, because I have problems with simulators like that. I was afraid to go on Dinosaur because they do use the word "simulator", but it's nothing like Star Tours. It's a ride, that moves along.....alittle bumpy, yes. I had no problems on Dinosaur though. Now, Mission Space, totally different story....lol.

If you've ridden Indy at DL, then you've already ridden Dinosaur. They seem to me to be the exact same ride, just with different AA and theming. Even the big boulder at the end of Indy has become that dino at AK. :)

Just imagine riding in a bumpy jeep. That's all it is.

No big deal.
