For a four year old dinosaur fanatic. I don't think we'll do Dinosaur because of rough, loud reviews, but for the rest of the land...for example, we've done the spin, but haven't explored much beyond that and the playground.

Any advice appreciated.

TIA!

We were there in Oct and the kids had a great time...4, 2.5 and 1. We started out at Breakfastosaurus with Donald, Mickey, Goofy and Pluto and then when the gate dropped we were right at the dino ride (the kiddie one). Got to ride it 2x in a row (no one even there yet). We then headed toward the boneyard and the kids played there for about an hour. We took in the Nemo show which was great relief on a HOT and MUGGY Oct day. My kids really enjoyed the interactive displays (finding stuff in the log, learning about monkeys, etc...people were manning these stations around the park). We met Lilo and Stitch, they weren't thrilled with Bug's Life (my oldest, 4, screamed and cried during the show and we had to leave). They liked playing with the drums. We were only in AK for a half day, so I think that's about all they did...which was actually a lot!

Hope you guys have a great time!

DD loves dinosaurs, too, but I'm pretty sure she'd hate the Dinosaur ride, so we've never taken her on it. You can go in the gift shop to the left of ride, though, and check out lots of dinosaur souvenirs. They have pretty good sized (6 inches or so) plastic glow in the dark dinosaurs for just $2. We've bought one on our past 3 trips. There's also a little area near the ride that has dinosaur statues, a couple of which kids can climb on. DD liked taking pictures of these while waiting with DH while I rode Dinosaur. She also loves the dinosaur part of Ellen's Energy Adventure in Epcot.

Thank you both. Energy Adventure isn't too much for the kiddos? It's been so long since I've ridden....

We're doing the safari breakfast, then I think we'll fp everest, ride safari, then head back to dinoland. Anyone know if we'll be facing Dumboesque lines by then? I feel like we're going to be doing a lot of criss-crossing...
