What time ADR should we shoot for to get from Biergarten to MK in time for Spectro and Wishes??

I know that sounds silly but my kids were not impressed by Illuminations (in fact they were bored and complained through the whole thing) last time but LOVED LOVED Spectro and Wishes. I really wanted to hit Spectro each night they did it during out trip if possible. We are spending the afternoon at DTD (eating lunch at WGP) and I thought maybe we could stop in Epcot for dinner... then back to MK for the shows. Is that dumb??

It depends on what time of year you're going. If the park is closing early, Spectro and Wishes can be early, too.

I would try to get the earliest possible dinner you can, or just have a big late lunch there. Your quickest way to the MK might be leaving through the International Gateway, going to Beach Club, and heading to the bus stop to the Magic Kingdom.

The other alternative is walking all the way back around World Showcase, through the park, to the monorail. Then switching monorails from the TTC to the Magic Kingdom. That will take a bit of time.

Either way, you'll need a lot of time to allow for travel.

We are going the first week in March... I think Spectro is at 7pm and Wishes at 8pm. Would a 4:40pm dinner give us enough time?? Is it worth the hassle... or should I pick someplace closer (or in MK)??

If I have my heart set on a park event, I try to stay as close to that park as possible. I think the monorail resorts have some fantastic meal options, and they are a lot easier to get to the Magic Kingdom, transporation-wise.

I had to be at Hollywood Studios last week for a private party, so I ate at one of the Epcot area resorts to make sure I had plenty of time.

We are staying at Poly and already have ADR's booked for Ohana, Kona, 1900 Park Fare, and Chef Mickeys for the week. I thought about trying Tony's but we have Mama Melrose booked for Fantasmic pkg and didn't really want to double up on Italian. Any other ideas??

How about Crystal Palace. About as easy as it can get for Spectro.
