Dinning Reservations opening up

Seams that Dinning reservations are opening up !! was able to get BOG for our trip .. a few slots were available

But Disney Dining Buddy, who *definitely isn't hoarding ADRs* gets shut down and all of a sudden spots are opening. Sort of like how ADR availability became very scarce once they popped on the scene. Crazy coincidence, huh?

I'm hoping to see earlier BOG lunches open up... nothing so far. It feels like such a competition to get those reservations!

No coincidence at all. The shutdown just happened to coincide with a lot of the November people finalizing FP+, hitting the drop dead final payment date and having to cancel, and deferrals finally opening for Wine and Dine weekend. This would be happening whether or not the sites were running.

I was hoping things would open up a lot more since we're within our 45 day window and I figured more people would be cancelling, but I haven't found that. I do have a fairly large party so in essence I'm looking for two reservations at the same time, and not just one. I already had BOG but wanted to do a character breakfast. Haven't found one...never mind two that coordinate with the rest of our schedule. I'm about to give up and try a day or two before.

You do realize that Disney releases blocks of ADRs over time? Not to mention as people approach their Paid-In-Full deadline, cancellations occur?
