Dinng Reservations with DVC

How do we use the online dining reservation system to get the 180 plus 10 if we have a DVC reservation?

You can enter the DVC reservation # in the res field. I used it last trip... great system.

Is this done at check out or before you make reservation. I can make reservations next week and I am trying to make sure that I know how to do this before my actual day arrives.

Go to: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/restaurants/

Click the 'Book a Reservation' button for the restaurant you want to make a dining reservation for. Once the booking engine loads, look for the following:

Resort Guests & Dining Plan
If you have a Resort reservation or would like to associate your Disney Dining Plan to your dining reservations, please retrieve your resort reservation. (Please be advised that not all restaurants participate in the Disney Dining Plan. Please check your Dining Plan information for participating restaurants.) Retrieve your reservation.

Click on the words 'Retrieve your reservation'. There you can enter your room reservation number to allow you to make up to 10 days worth of ADRs once you are 180 days from check-in.

We have reservations in Sept. There will four of us in the room. Can I make reservations for 8 online when I make my reservations or will I need to call?
DMIL and DSIL family are going and there will be 8 of us total. DMIL and DSIL are planning on staying on property, but I don't know if they will have their reservations at the time I make the dining reservations. They are hoping and holding out for free dining.
Want to make sure I know all the rules before I try to book.
Also, DBIL has a food allergy. He is allergic to corn. Do I have to call to notate that or is there a place to do that online? Do I need to notify each place or will they notate it on all of my reservations?

You can do it on-line. The ADR system isn't limited by the number of guests you have listed on the reservation or the size of the room. It simply confirms that you have a reservation.
