okay, so we are trying to make a reservation for dinner with Cinderella,
in the castle.. so it is not only that it cost arm, leg and half of our village..
but now.. they don't even have any time???...

that is so sad.. and tips how to go about that? my DD is soo much looking forward to it, I figured that maybe just me and her could go to save
and make it happen and live hubby behind to wait for us outside or something because we definitely can'ta fford three people! and I so want her to do that..
she is just 5..

how to make a reservation that seems impossible .. half month in advance???

stalk the website -Daily! Seriously. Things open up, but some of it is the luck of looking when that opening happens. CRT is super popular and can book up right at 6am on day 180, but things DEFINITELY open up...Especially within the 2 week mark. There were days where I'd check on certain things 50-100x per day. It sounds nuts, but I got everything I wanted that I hadn't already booked at the 180 day mark.

Good Luck!

I agree with the above. Keep checking. You are charged when you book, so people will cancel their reservations if they can't make it in order to get their money back. Lunch seems to be the easiest to get.

If you can't get an ADR, then go directly to the restaurant when the MK opens. The generally hold back some tables. Don't call or ask anywhere else, they'll tell you it's booked.

prep her picture poses the photographer could care less how those ictures come out.

Make reservations at dinner with Cinderella and her friends at 1900 Park Fare. It was a delightful dinner, and the step sisters were hystical!

Or do a late brunch at Akerhaus in Epcot. You get FIVE princesses (Cinderella was one of them when we went, it looks regal, and reservations are do-able.)

something else....

you mention cost, but that could be reduced if you switch to CRT for breakfast. You'd be saving nearly $10pp for adults and almost $4 for the child. i.e. the nearly $24 savings might make this possible for your husband as well.

I second the dinner at 1900 Park Fare. You will get Cindy, Prince Charming, Stepmother, Stepsisters...all at your table.

Dinner is fairly good and the face time with Cindy is MUCH better than at the castle. I think the restaurant is much prettier too.

I agree! We did dinner in the castle twice and I wasn't impressed either time. Food was ok to bad and we felt really rushed. The princesses barely stayed still for a picture before they were off. 1900 Park Fare is one of our favorite meals and we go every trip. Food is very good and the character interaction is wonderful. We've never been disappointed.

Some of these issues also come down to luck and personal preference. We are doing dinner at 1900 PF this time for the first time (where I've heard mixed reviews as well), but have eaten breakfast in there and we preferred the castle setting over 1900 PF and Akershus. We also had EXCELLENT princess interaction at CRT...especially Cindy...we got close to 5 min with her! She gave tons of hugs, twirled them, chatted with them for a while, helped position them and coach them for the photographer, and then held up the line a little longer so I could get lots of pics. Our princess interaction upstairs was a bit more generic, but not rushed. Aurora was very snuggly with our girls and Ariel convinced my now terrified 2 yr old that it was OK to come out for a hug. And for whatever reason- Belle in her blue dress was a highlight for our girls. So, if it's in the budget- I'd still push for CRT.

This is 100% right, we have never been unable to get it, you just have to try, try, and try again.

People are missing the point on CRT. It isn't just about Cindy, it is the experience of eating in the castle. If you can sit there, watch the fireworks through the back window, and get Chris as a waiter, it is a great experience. Is there better food around? ABSOLUTELY. But we love the place just for the experience. It is always our last Disney meal the night before we leave.

Try, try, and try again, you will get it! People cancel and move reservations like crazy.
