Dinner vs Breakfast at Chef Mickey's

We used to eat at Chef Mickey's when my daughters were young on our first night. We always enjoyed it, and have some wonderful memories from there. We even at at CM when it was located in DTD Marketplace!

We've eaten there for breakfast our last 2 trips, but will be trying it for dinner this time b/c that's where DD wants to have her bday dinner I will agree with a pp that after breakfast there, I felt really tired. However, the characters were great, food was decent and we had tons of fun. Yes, it was crowded, even w/ADRs. We're doing breakfast @ Cape May this time, so we'll get our Mickey Waffles there

Dinner there might be the worst food at Disney. When you take into consideration the price, it is easily the worst value there. Breakfast is good just a little pricey for a breakfast but with the characters a good experience.

Im more of a dinner guy BUT im not happy with the parmasean potatoes for dinner and for me potatoes are a huge decision for me when choosing dinner......

The breakfast lacks nothing at all....

We have been to CM's many times & each time Minnie has been there for b'fast.

This is the 1st time we are going to try the dinner since we are on the Dining Plan this August. Also, the breakfast is great, but the last time we did it, it really irked me how expensive it was & it's only b'fast. Granted you can really fill up & make it a late ADR, blah, blah, blah, but I was still bothered by the cost. I know, it's Disney all the food is a rip-off, but when it's breakfast it just bothered me that time. I do think it's the best character meal though because it has the classic characters. Foodwise, I think Crystal Palace has it beat though.

My family has done the dinner there alot. The last time my husband got really sick after eating there. I finally said enough. I gave the food several chances and each time was worse than the last. When I say it's bad I mean it's bad! My sister and her family finally agreed that we won't go back. Even with free dining I will not eat dinner at Chef Mickey. Breakfast is okay. For my 6yr. we will do the breakfast because of the characters. The place is dirty , the food horrible, and cold. So if you find the need to go to Chef Mickey do the breakfast.

BREAKFAST!! It is so much better than dinner. Breakfast is very good!
