Dinner tonight...... snow day style!

I'm a bad wife and mother and didn't grocery shop before the storm. I just decided we'll have a big breakfast tonight.... scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes and I'm going to boil some potatoes and make homefries! I think that will fill everyone up and re energize my dh after he cleans out the driveway!

When I do this at my house I'm consider the best mom! My kids love when I don't make it to the grocery store because we always have some sort of breakfast for dinner- pancakes are the favorite!

We love it too! We are having snow and I have soup in the crock pot. It's been so very windy I've been worried about a power outage before my soup is done! I don't really have a backup except for PBJ...

Us too! We just got a Cracker Barrel and we have been there twice and I had breakfast both times

I actually made it to the grocery store for produce yesterday, so we've been all right. Tonight is salmon with asparagus and butternut squash...unless we lose power in which case it will be campbells heated up on the coleman stove!

However, since we've been out shoveling all day we have also been gulping down lots of tea and hot cocoa!

The kids had PB&J and I made me and DH a ham and cheese omlete.
