I was going to leave the last day of our trip totally unplanned so we could fill it in as needed. But, then I started thinking - that's the day we're celebrating dd's 9th birthday (actual day is 6 days after our return). So, I booked Chef Mickey's for breakfast. Is there somewhere that would be cool for dinner? We'll probably want to be in the MK for the last night with Spectromagic and Wishes (it's a Saturday).

Here are the places we're already going:

Chef Mickey's for first dinner
CRT - breakfast
Plaza Restaurant - dinner
Tony's - lunch
O'Hana's - dinner
Liberty Tree Tavern (for my birthday) - dinner
Crystal Palace (for MNSSHP) - dinner
Teppanyaki Grill - late lunch
50's Prime Time Diner - late lunch
Whispering Canyon Cafe - dinner (maybe I should change this to her birthday thing?)

I do want to fit in Beaches & Cream if only for dessert one day and Trails End for a meal.

The woman at Disney Dining suggested 1900 Park Fare - I do have a PS but, I'm not sure I want to keep it.

I think that 1900 Park Fare would be a nice treat for a 9yr old girl's birthday.

All your meal plans sound great.

Have a great trip!:D

You are already eating at all of the places I would have suggested for dinner for a MK night, so maybe you move one of those dinners around for that evening, and do another dinner elsewhere. If you're intent on keeping your plans as is, Kona Cafe at the Poly is GREAT!!! Also, if you 'd like to eat at the GF, but the princess dinner isn't doing it for you, how about GF Cafe. They are now open for dinner, and the setting in there is GREAT!! If you really want to make it special, you could call the GF Bakery and order her the Cinderella Slipper Dessert. It is only made at the GF, and can either be picked up or delivered for dessert. I believe the dessert costs $14 or so, and it's a white chocolate slipper, filled with some sort of cream. I've seen a picture here on the DIS, and it looks scrumptous, and beautiful. It might be something special for a 9YO.

What does she like? Pasta, chicken?

I have 3 girls - now 4 (almost 5), 13 and 15 and we've been eating more and more in Epcot each year. A great dinner location would be Rose and Crown so that you can see Illuminations. The food choices there are more limited so study the menu first, but the girls loved it because of the atmosphere.

We also love dinner at Tepanniki in the steak house - instead of lunch. Because they can run outside to watch Illuminations from the deck.

And we love Alfredo's in Italy. That would be a noisy fun place to celebrate a birthday.

The Polynesian hotel restaurants would be great as well and then you could watch Illuminations from their beach.

I also highly recommend the California Grille. It's our absolute favorite restaurant, the food and service are great and the view from the deck is fabulous. If you look up the time of the fireworks on that day you could time the reservation just right. I have the name and number of a fabulous waiter there whom we've had several times over the past couple of years. I could share that number with you and you could ask him to do something special for your daughter...... Send me a pm if you want it.

Good luck.

Thank you for the suggestions.

I'm not set on our dining plan the way it is - I could move stuff around. But, both the GF Cafe and California Grill sound good ...... the slipper desert sounds great!!

Like most kids, her tastes are a bit limited - chicken + fries, pizza, loves spaghetti and meatballs, will eat steak....

I wonder if one place would make " a big deal" over her more than another? Even though our last day will probably be a MK day, I don't mind going out of the way for dinner somewhere else if we need to.

Ahhhh.... decisions, decisions.......... I just wish these were my biggest problems in life!:jester:

I would definitely keep 1900 Park Fare. They have a very good buffet and the character interaction with Cinderella and Prince Charming was wonderful. Also if you wanted to order a special dessert (like a castle cake or the Cinderella slipper) GF is able to do them. We celebrated dd's 7th birthday there and it was great! Also you're right on the monorail to go over for the parade and fireworks.
