Several members of my family say that we were dining, or munching, at one of the restaurants near the ROA when Fantasmic started. They claim we had a great view and that it was nice to be able to sit at a table and chair, outside, throughout the performance. To tell you the truth, I have a vague memory of it, but mostly I keep drawing a blank. :confused3

Which restaurant would you be able to see Fantasmic from? I keep thinking it was off to the side near Mark Twain, but I don't see any restaurants over there on DL's map.

Can anyone help?

River belle terrace has a porch you can sit on on that side... on the other side I think it is something Orleans, but I think your view would be fairly blocked from that one...

After going to DL so many times through the years, I'm getting the visits mixed up. My daughter said that when we went there in 2000, we watched it near Mark Twain, but on the ground. The time before that was when my son remembers sitting at the table, so that must have been 1996 or 98. He remembers it being a small building on a corner with a balcony...we sat up on the balcony. Perhaps this was before the balcony "reserved" seating. :confused3

Oh well...I was hoping to maybe get a reservation for dinner at a restaurant that had a view for Fantasmic, but looks like we'll just have to spread a couple of "Neat Sheets" out and stake out our spot. With 8 of us going, the Riverside Desert Seats are just not a financial possibility. :sad1:
