Have any of you been to any of the local dinner theaters? They are wonderful. We went to Pirates two years ago (kids were 5 and 9) we ALL loved it!!My husband was talking about opening one here for months and months afterward! LOL

This year we are going to Arabian Nights, I can't wait. Leaving in 23 days!!!!!!

I don't know if it qualifies as a dinner theatre, but I've been to Medeval Times (sorry I'm a terrible speller!) twice and it was absolutely awesome, both times.

We went to this one a few years back and just loved it. They put on a spectacular show and it was very well worth the money. Have a great time!!

Medieval Times is one of the other ones. I haven't see that yet...maybe next time

If anyone is interested there is a coupon on their web site for $10 per meal- just click on reservations and it is at the bottom of the screen.

Many of the other ones have coupons in the local discount books for $6 off per meal- I have tons and tons of them here that I won't use. I got a lot of the discount books when I ordered my tickets through another site- they sent them with the tickets.

The dinner theaters are wonderful! It is a great thing to do on the day you arrive in Orlando.

We're goingto try the Pirate Dinner in June. I'm glad to hear you liked it. I am just aaa little worried, due to the cost. There are 6 of us. The price is ok for the bigger kids, but I have a 3 year old. I'm am confident that she will like it, but that's a lot of money for food she will probably not eat much of. But we're doing to try any way.

We have a Medival Times, about 45 minuutes away from home. We liked it.

Your 3 year old will love it- there is lots of acrobatics and lots of color. The food is good- kids like their selections. The dance afterward is fun too!

Durign the beginning stand over to the left near the front where the princess and king are sitting. You may be able to let her meet and take a picture with the princess who becomes a major part of the story later...

Does anyone know where to find more info on these dinner shows? Price, food offered, etc? We have never done any of them. We have two kids, DS almost 4 and DD is 6. Would one be better for them then another? Thanks for any info.

I can't find the medieval times dinner theater coupon for $10 off. I only find a $4 off. Could you please tell me where the other one was.

Thank you

I have only found a $10 coupon for Arabian nights on their website.
One of the great things with these dinner shows- if you drink at all- is that with dinner comes all the free wine or beer you want. We usually don't but it is nice to be able to relax a little on vacation :D

As far as information, my grandmother spend 6 months out of each year in Fl and has been to all the shows. She told me 2 years ago that the best one for young kids was Pirates (they were 9 and 5 at the time)- they absolutely loved it! I would suggest that one and it is located off of International Drive. They have a web site,as do most of them.. here it is

pirates dinner adventure

Here is a list of other shows:
Sleuth'd mystery dinner theater
Medieval Times- I heard this one is good- cool website
medieval times

Arabian Nights- great-just don't sit to close to the stage- the horses kick up a lot of dust-check out their web site!$10 off- this is an unheard of discount

arabian nights

There are others but these are the major ones

just got back late 3-17,2001. we went to the pirate show. show was excellent but the food was not that great (probably isn't at any of them, your paying for the entertainment). Costs was about $25.00 per person and show last 2 hours. Our hotel offered a free ticket with the purchase of an adult, and we had to pay full price for the kids. total cast was $95.00 for four people, 2 adults, 2 children, including the 1 free ticket. Stop at the Florida welcome center and get brochures. Some offer $10.00 off regular admission prices for each person. They also expect a tip of 15% to 20% for the waiting staff. Good luck and enjoy. I am glad I did go to 1 show, but would not go to another.
