Dinner Table size

We are a family of six and have reserved early seating. How many at a table. Will another family share with us?

The tables seat 4...and are pushed together as need be, so the smallest table you would be at is one for 8....but it is possible 2 seats will be vacant. Or they could up you with another family of 6 at a table of 12.

I think there are actually a variety of table sizes. On one of our cruises on DCL we've had a table for 6, even though we are a family of 3--no one was seated with us during the trip--but we were travelling off season and had late seating. On our Sept cruise, we were seated at a table for 6, even though there were only 5 of us.

We were a family of 5 and were given a table for six by ourselves. And the boat was sold out.

There are also tables of 10, which you could also end up at with a family of 4. There are a few tables for 6, but not that many. There are round tables as well as rectangle tables, and it vary by restaurant, so for a certain table, you'll probably be seated at both types. You could also end up at a table for 8 all by yourselves. If that's what you want, place a request on your reservation that you'd like a table alone.

On Dec 9 cruise we were 5 and got a table for 8. We had DGD 8 years old. The other couple three of them had a DD 7 years old.

You may end up with table for 8. 6 in your party and a couple to bring it to 8. We were sitting at table for 8. 3 of us and 5 of them. Then next to us it was a table for 4, there was only 3 people seating there and I think the table behind us seats about 6.

We are a family of 3. We have book late seating due to being west coast people. I hope we get seated with another family. We have made some life long friends on past cruises thru our table.
