Have you ever looked at something so much that you just can't see the forrest from trees? I am going absolutely crazy with my ADRs. We have free DDP for our August Trip. DH, Pin Trader Bob and I have been to the WDW four times together, DS, Stitch Fan, has only been to AK, and this trip is to celebrate his 21st birthday. Oh, almost forgot, DS's DGF will be joining us, she has been to WDW once. Keeping in mind that my men are pretty much meat and potato type of guys, and the only vegetable that exsists for them is corn I tried to plan places where I thought they would have an enjoyable expereince. Well today, DH tells me he would rather do SciFi as a lunch and pay OOP, because he thought it was just average when we where there last year. On the other hand DS wants to go there because he has never been, therefore lunch as been decided on, because you can get plain burgers. Ok, I can probably move that ADR to lunch, but now I have to come up with a new dinner plan. As you can see we have already switched out Whispering Canyon for Kona, and Prime Time for SciFi. Ohana for dinner is out, we went last year, I got sick, DH said all the meat was too dry,and we never got the potatos even though we asked twice.

We have Park Hopper Plus tickets, so we can go anywhere....any suggestions for my "basic food" eaters?

This is what I have:
August 10th – We are going to pay OOP, since California Grill we take up two TS
August 11th – Breakfast at Ohana - OOP
August 11th - Dinner Narcoossee (Pin Trader Bob & I)
August 11th - Dinner with Cinderella at Grand Floridian Cafe - OOP (Stitch Fan & Meghan)
August 12th – Dinner at California Grill
August 13th – Dinner at Coral Reef
August 14th – Dinner at Boma
August 15th – Dinner at Sci-Fi (this had been 50’s Prime Time Café)
August 16th – Dinner Le Cellier
August 17th – Dinner at Kona Café (this had been Whispering Canyon Café)
August 18th – Leaving at 3pm, no set plans

How about adding back in some of your "removed" ones? Whispering Canyon is fun and the food is certainly good and plentiful. My parents enjoy Concourse Steak House in the Contemporary, and the food is usually good at Liberty Tree Tavern, too -- dinner there is a Thanksgiving Feast. Those seem like some places that would please GUYS! And my boys LOVE PrimeTime... Who can resist pot roast or fried chicken?

Good luck. Really they are ALL good!

I agree with the suggestion to add Whispering Canyon back in. Fits your meat and potato needs and they even have corn! We have a blast when we go here and enjoy the food too.
