Dinner Shows

My mom and I (both adults) are going down to Disney in the end of July. We would like to attend a dinner show but after reading the reviews are undecided what to do. Which would you suggest, Mickey's Backyard BBQ, Spirit of Aloha Polynesian Luau or the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review?

Also, what do you think of 'Ohana? I've heard mixed reviews.

We enjoy O'hanas have had great food food each time service was hit or miss.I would go to HDDR and if you decide to go to HDDR you need to call now and get ressy.Iwould not like to go to Mickeys Back Yard BBQ in late July is outside and could be very hot.We went to Luau and it was good just much prefer HDDR.

My husband and I have been to both the Luau and the Hoop De Doo. We did not care for the Hoop De Doo, but everyone else seemed to enjoy it very much. I think it just wasnt our cup of tea. The Luau was nice. The Polynesian is so beautiful. I am voting for the Luau. Havent been to the Backyard BBQ, but would like to go. I think it sounds like fun.

We went to the Hoop-Dee-Doo review a few years back. My family didn't care for it very much. If you like country music, slap stick comedy like the old show Hee Haw than you might like this show. The food was ok but I wasn't into the singing and dancing. I haven't Been to the Aloha Polynesian Luau but I have heard many great reviews. We have been to other dinner shows Sleuths Mystery Dinner show was very good and Medieval Times dinner show was great. Family member reported Pirates dinner show was awesome and Arabian Knights was also very good. I hope you have a great time where ever you choose to go.

We have done all three and our favorite is HDMR. We will be doing HDMR for our third time next trip. I think July will be way too hot for Mickey's Bar-B-Que. When we did Mickey's it was in early May and it was very hot and sticky.
