Dinner Shows

Hi-can anyone reccomend a good dinner show in orlando.When we last went we watched Arabian Nights which was good(apart from the food!)but now we'd like to see something different.
My wife and kids like the look of Dolly's dixie stampede so if anyone has any experiences of that please let me know.

We saw the Dolly Parton Dixie Stampede show last April. It is unashamedly patriotic and is all things American but having said that, it is very colourful and lots of singing, dancing, animals, and there are scenery changes that come down from the ceiling! It is very entertaining!

As for the food - go very hungry! It may not be completely to your taste but it starts off with a creamy soup and scone, followed by a whole roasted mini chicken, other bits of meat and spicy potato wedges, and corn on the cob and then it is followed up by an apple pastry turnover. The only thing to mention is that you do not get any cutlery! Dolly believes you have to experience the whole thing as if it happened out West.

From the minute it starts, they divide you up into teams, North and South, and they want audience participation all the way which you have to do with your feet because your hands are covered in food!

Hi there

We loved Dolly's Dixie Stampede, if you like horses you'll most probably like it, their food was above par for a dinner show and the pre show (in my opinion) was even better than the main show itself!

It's right next to Premium Outlets, you can't miss it. Another show that gets my vote is The Hoop De Doo Review, very funny if a bit hammy! you can book this through Disney, or if you are booking through TCD they have a special deal on at the moment on Dolly's stampede tickets. Hope this helps

Another similar place is Medieval Times...there are many knights competing for the favor of the Queen and each section has a knight they cheer for. Another FUN place is called Al Capone's. It's a buffet style dinner show which is quite funny, but be prepared for the "rude" behavior because that's what makes it fun...the attitudes of the servers, etc. combined with the show.

Another vote for Dixie.. we have been twice as my friend used to work there.. and it is fab! My 3 yr old son got to chase chickens (in a kind caring way!) accross the stadium in front of 1000 people! It was so cute!

It is patriotic - but the north and south thing is great... and the horses and riding are excellent as is the food!!
They also do some great deals from time to time too.. watch out in the daily mail in the USA.

Disney have two disney shows, we are going to mickey's backyard barbeque, there is also another show on offer.

Attraction Tickets direct are currently doing tickets for £17 per adult for Dixie - it's so cheap I was thinking of checking it out but my DH2B is not keen - thinks it could be a bit "american" - but hey when in america do as the americans do hey!
