Dinner Show Recommendation please

...for two adults who enjoy things like Cirque, Fantasmic, Turtle Talk with Crush (well, we do!)....want to book one of the dinner shows in Orlando next trip...I think my choices are Dolly's Stampede, Mystery Murder Dinner, a Pirate Show....any one stand out?

We have done Pirates (really only did it for the kids and the fact that we thought they would like it). I wasn't expecting much for the food, but it was worse than I expected. We had our DD(22m at that time) with us, but they didn't even provide food for her because she didn't pay for a ticket - we were not aware of that. Luckily we managed to grab some food at the preshow and I shared my food with her. She loved the show though and still talks about it.

We did the outta contol magic show which was very silly. Pizza and drinks was OK. DS (5) liked it, we only had a small crowd of people there as it was low season then. It was kinda fun, and I would probably do it again as it was not too expensive

I have heard that out of the dinner shows Dolly's show is the best for food / show. But I have not tried it yet so don't have any personal experience.

Hi don't forget u also have the SW Luau which is a great show with really good food

We've done the Outta Control Magic Show- the food is just pizza- but the show was more comedy I thought than magic. It was really cute. They do a lot of audience participation.
The other one we've done it Medevial Times. Now I'd rate the food as average. The show as average. However, my ds really, really like it. So, of course that made it all worthwhile.
Now for us either the priate show or Dixie Stampede is next on our to do list.

Our local Dixie Stampede actually has pretty tasty food. We wind up bringing home leftover meat every time since my sons are picky eaters. I love the soup, which it turns out is just out of a can. I can't remember now where they told me they got it, but it really was good.

BTW - I had also heard that Disney's Hoop De Doo Review was good.

Probably one of the next on my to do list.

My top 3 to try are Dixie Stampeede, Disney's Hoop De Doo Review and Sea World Luau (not necessarily in that order)

We've done the WDW luau at the Poly and the Hoop De Do Review, both were a lot of fun. We enjoyed the luau so much we went back for a 2nd year in a row this year, couldn't get tickets to HDDR so that pretty much determined what we were going to see. Both of those shows seem much more "kid" oriented, much like the other area dinner shows. Cirque du Soleil is much more "adult" oriented, if you like that sort of thing I would always recommend Cirque over the others. The food at most dinner/show combos isn't the best anyhow...at Cirque, you can eat a "real" dinner in one of the excellent DTD restaurants there.. and then go see a top notch show...really the best of both worlds..but Cirque tickets aren't cheap!

Raglan Road or Adventurer's Club at PI could almost be considered dinner shows...certainly lively entertainment! (Although AC has no food). House of Blues also has excellent food, and shows, depending on your musical tastes and who's playing that evening, we were just there last month and at all of these places and had an excellent time! (Although for dinner we "ate around the world" at Epcot that evening before hitting HOB and PI).
