We will be at US/IOA the Friday before Thanksgiving till Thanksgiving Day. Do you think I should be making reservations for Dinner? I haven't booked anything yet but was thinking of booking either NBA City (since my son is such a sports fan) or Margaritaville for our first night. Do you think it will be necessary?

Also what about our other nights? Since the parks aren't open too late, I figure we will go to dinner after the parks are closed.

We are staying at HRH if that matters.

Thanks,

Elise

I've heard it isn't too busy before Thanksgiving, but I'm sure dinner reservations wouldn't hurt...better safe than sorry, right? :) Anyway, be on the lookout for me...I may be there either the day before or the day of Thanksgiving if not both...I'll be there with my neon yellow seat cushion and most likely at every Ghostbusters Show. Be sure to say "hi," all right? ;)

And Margaritaville is quite nice...good food and everything. Haven't tried NBA City yet though but heard good reviews about it. :)

You'll have to let me know how HRH is, because I've only stayed at RPH and would love to hear your and your son's opinions of it!

It doesn't hurt to make a reservation. That way you will have the time you want...guaranteed. However as an onsite guest you can show your room key and get next available seating, so it all depends on if you want to wait or not.

Thanks for the replies.

I think I will get PS for the first two nights we are there and then play it by ear. Between my 12 DS who is a vegetarian who doesn't eat too many vegetables and my 14 DD who likes pasta and cheeseburgers, meals are an adventure. I figure at most places they will find something to eat.

Flyfly, I'll look for the neon yellow seat cushion :)

SpideyHulk, I look forward to your report after your trip. I can't believe it is so soon!

Elise

I would recommend making reservations for Thanksgiving Day. Lots of people like to eat out that night, and most of the restaurants will have Thanksgiving specials.

Colorado--

I know. I am so excited. Stay tuned for the report.
