We have dinner reservations at the Crystal Palace at 7:30pm on 11/24. We want to catch the parade and fireworks after dinner which start at 9pm. I'm wondering if anyone else has ate around this time and if it made it easier to get a good viewing spot for the parade or more difficult?

When it comes to Parades people start lining up almost 2 hours for the best spots. Here's what your options are.

1) see if you can get into the Crystal palace 30 min earlier than your reservation, sometimes if there's room they'll put you right in giving you a good hour to eat all that great food and an hour to find a good solid spot.

2) Kick back and gorge yourself on massive amounts of food and then casually find a spot for the parade since there's bound to always be a spot you can squeeze in and see.

The problem you miiiiight run into is getting to the Crystal Palace and seeing that its packed then your 7:30 reservation turns into an 8 o clock reservation and you're rushing to finish eating which is kind of unfair to you since Crystal Palace is SO awesome you want to take your time.

have fun!

Great point about getting to my reservation in the first place...never even thought about that! Thanks!

I'm hoping Option 2 works out for us :cool2:
