Dinner Party Help!

I've done so much searching and coming up with limited results so I figured it was best to reach out to those who know......

Has anyone done a dinner party at a WDW restaurant? Do any of the restaurants have private dining rooms? I've got 20 ppl that I'm trying to plan a surprise 50th anniversary party for and not sure where to look. I've contacted Disney events and having pricing on a dessert party, but I'd like to look for other options. TIA for your help!!!

Have you called Disney Dining? I've never heard of private rooms anywhere on property.

I just called them and they referred me to private and group dining at some of the resorts.

We celebrated my parents 50th last June at the California Grille. We made the reservation through the CG private/group dining and were able to request their private
wine room for dinner. We've found working with the resorts' private group dining contacts to be very helpful.

I was just going to say this. We had a reservation for California Grille 2 years ago for 4 adults and they placed us in a room that is not with the normal restaurant. They said they use this room sometimes for larger private parties. Plus if you book at the right time you could have dinner and then go out on the roof decks and watch the fire works. How lovely would that be to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary. I was able to book this for our September 2016 trip and we will be celebrating my Dad's 70th bday.

Found on a website: The Napa and Sonoma dining rooms are perfect for private events. Plus based on the pics there looks to be an even larger room that could be reserved for a private event.

I thought I read that The Grand Floridian could do a private dinner party.
