dinner package with reserved seating for Fantasmic

We have reservations at Hollywood & Vine for the Fantasmic special. Are the reserved seats good seats?

They are not the best. The theater has a left side, center, and a right side (facing the show) and the Fantasmic package seats are to the right.

They just make it so you do not have to sit there for over an hour.

There is actually a block of seats to the right of the stadium for all dinner package patrons.

Like anything Disney, the earlier you get to this section the better seats you will have. I like our seats though.

The only benefit I found by using the package is quick exit. The view is on the far right . Very few seats are "Bad" at fantasmic. Pretty much the question is "is the extra money worth not sitting and waiting for a good seat"

Fantasmic is greAT! If you arrive early enough you do not have to sit in the reserved section you can sit whereever you please. When we went there wasn't too many people there so we were told we could sit where ever we wanted. we sat in the Mickey section (I believe)

I used this package on my last trip. I had the Brown Derby. I would never do it again. The Brown Derby wanted to be upper-class but with it being in a theme park it just did not cut it.
As far as Fantasmic, It is sufficient at Disney World but Fantasmic at Disneyland is superior.

We have had the fantasmic dinner package on 2 occassions and skipped it once - the one time we did we ended up standing in the back upper section - I don't think there are any really bad seats - if like like getting wet the middle down front is perfect - I think the view from the preferred seating is fine and never felt like I was missing any part of the show....

i will definately book the package this time.Last trip we ended up stood at the back where i could hardly see anything,we had been queuing for 40 mins to get in so i guess we must have picked an especially busy night.

We went to Fantasmic on 1/2/06 with the package and dinner at Hollywood & Vine. The dinner was good and we had no issues with our seats. We were in the middle of the right hand section, we arrived at 6:35 for the 7:00 show - IMHO worth every penny. We did notice that with the center section depending on where you sit there are 2 large poles to contend with, this was not an issue for us. The water screens are on each side and center, the boats that are part of the show go all the way across the water so we saw everything. Would do it again with the dinner package.
