Just made dinner ressie @8:00 for Crystal Palace, for 3-12 I was wondering if anyone kknows what time they stop serving dinner, MK closes @ 8:00. I have lunch ressie @ 2:45 also, I dont' know which I should keep
Any suggestions

The parade is at 3:00 p.m. so if you don't want to see the parade, go eat during that time. I don't know if I could wait to 8:00 p.m. to eat, but, if your used to eating late, then eat then. I guess the big question is if you want to see that parade or not, my choice, if I wasn't going to watch the parade is to go eat at 2:45 p.m.

Is an EARLY lunch Res at all possible? 2:45 MIGHT be ok crowd wise...but 11:30-45 would be a lot safer. After a LONG day in the park, 8pm might be pushing it for dinner with little guys in tow. That's pretty darn late if you have been there all day and want to be able to get up in the morning and make it to a park before it gets really crowded. If you plan on being at the park for rope drop that day then you will be ready for a nice rest by 11:30...trust me. :)

I was not impressed with dinner. I had a 3:30pm ADR and was able to watch some of the parade from the porch outside but you can't hear well and its kind of obstructed and far away. If you really want to see the parade, then stick with the dinner, but if you can see it another day, then stick with lunch. I just found the food at dinner to be so so.

We actually went one time for a 2:45 ADR, and it was GREAT!! The characters had to 'disappear' for a few minutes as the parade went by, but other than that, we got A LOT of character interaction. Because it was an in-between time, we got lunch prices, but the dinner food was being put out. We also had a bit of time before they started seating dinner folks, and our kids had the characters all to themselves. Some of our best pics are from this lunch. That being said, we did this in 2004, so I don't know if anything has changed.

If you are not on DDP - I would do breakfast at CP to save some $$'s.

If you are on DDP - I would do dinner - my family would like what is on the dinner menu better than lunch. Plus a better deal for your DDP $$'s ;)

Some of the dinner menu items:
Peel & Eat Shrimp with Cocktail Sauce and Lemon Wedges
Garlic Redskin Smashed Potatoes - also on the lunch menu
Fire Roasted Prime Rib
Herb Roasted Turkey
Cheese Pizza - also on the lunch menu
Slow Roasted Adobo Pork
Wild Mushroom and Chicken Pasta with Bail Asiago Cream Sauce - also on the lunch menu
Ancho Chile Rubbed Atlantic Salmon
Flame Roasted Rotisserie Chicken - - also on the lunch menu

Thanks for the info. I think lunch might be the way to go. I was a worried that the lunch selection was so/so, but after hearing they will start to place dinner entrees out too, hubby thinks we should do lunch.

We were very happy with the lunch selection. The flank steak was REALLY good ;) There was a VERY large variety and selection though...you won't be dissapointed.

we always do lunch meals when we can! it's cheaper and a lot of times very similar if not the same food. I LOVE CP for lunch! It always hits the spot! :goodvibes
