Our 180 day mark is in about 2 weeks so we're starting to pick out where we want to eat. We were thinking of eating at the following for dinner. Does anyone not recommend any of these?

-1900 Park Fare
-Beaches & Cream
-Cape May Cafe
-The Turf Club Bar & Grill
-Mama Melrose

Would love to hear some suggestions as well! I feel like we've ate at most of the popular ones and want to try something new!

Also- we will be doing MVMCP for the first time this year. We aren't on the dinning plan but should we make a dinner reservation for that day? Or just do quick service?

When we have done MNSSHP (haven't done MVMCP yet), we usually spend the day in MK. We'll have a big breakfast to start the morning. It looks like you'll be at BWV, so Cape May over at the BC is a good place for breakfast before heading to the park. We have then done The Plaza at about 4PM or BoG at about 2:30 for a meal later in the day, and then snack a little bit during the party. This allows us to get in line early for any of our must-dos that draw long waits (like the 7 Dwarves or Jack and Sally). It has worked well for us, keeping our tummies full without losing park or party time.

-1900 Park Fare I wasnt overly impressed with the food, though the characater interaction is good
-Beaches & CreamGood food, save room for dessert
-Cape May CafeIf you like seafood, great choice, also good landlubber food
-The Turf Club Bar & GrillWe have not eaten here yet, but friends ate there recently and raved about it
-Mama Melrose
This used to be a must eat place for us. The last couple times we went, it wasnt what it used to be. In all fairness, recently, been reading good reviews. Great way to incorporate Fantasmic thru the package. Costs a bit more, but no standing in line for the show

The Plaza or Liberty Tree Tavern would be some good choices for party night. They let you in on that ticket at 4, so I would eat early, as the park tends to be crowded between 4 and 7 as the party folks filter in and the remaining folks are filtered out.

We like to do a big late breakfast buffet or good heavy lunch on party nights. If we do breakfast then we usually grab a quick snack somewhere around mid afternoon. Then we do quick service during a slower time during the party (we usually send someone to Casey's for pork slaw dogs and fries while the rest of us stake out parade viewing spots, then eat while we wait for it to start).

Thanks! We also were thinking about Tusker House for dinner we've only had breakfast there before. Is it similar to Boma? The menu reminds me of the food we had there

I think that it is similar to Boma. It is good.

On the party night, how you dine is up to you. WE usually have a TS meal in the park before the party if I can book one before 5PM, which is my cutoff for dinner. We have also dined on the monorail line, Kona was a good choice for us. If you want to be in teh park, and you do not see an early enough ADR< plan CS. We choose CHH if there are no TS meals that are convenient that day.

remember we all have likes and dislikes...I like all your choices

IMO...I would do the buffets for breakfast, not dinner.
We aren't big breakfast people. We usually will get 2 orders of waffles or pancakes for the 4 of us and split it so it wouldn't make sense for us. We also think quick service breakfast is good, while quick service dinner isn't our favorite.
