We are going in November and I am trying to decide where to eat on our MK day for dinner. Skipper Canteen? Steakhouse 71? Another suggestion? I've heard mixed reviews on Skipper Canteen and Steakhouse 71 so I keep going back and forth. TIA

Steakhouse 71. No question. MK is horrible for restaurants. I’ve done SH71 twice in a visit because it was so good.

I’ve never been to Steakhouse 71 but agree with avoiding table service at MK - we usually plan to walk over to GF.

IMHO both are good options... if you like what's on the menu. Another option would be to boat over to WL and grab a bite at Geyser Point, but if time is tight then maybe not. Have you looked at Liberty Tree Tavern's menu?

Steakhouse 71 is my favorite restaurant. That would be my top choice, especially on a MK day. I am not a fan of any restaurant in MK.

I am a Steakhouse 71 girlie all the way. I know people complain about the decor of the restaurant, but it has never bothered me. I've had great service every time and wonderful food. I dream about the bread and, of course, the chocolate cake. It's already on my list to book for my Thanksgiving trip.

Skipper Canteen is pretty good if you like the menu. It's a little more unusual and has some spicy stuff, so some people don't like it. It's probably your best option in MK proper though.

I would just stay in the park. We always enjoy Liberty Tree Tavern, Be Our Guest, and Tony’s.

I really enjoy Skipper Canteen! If you’ve got the time, I’d grab a bite over at Geyser Point instead, but Skipper has always been solidly tasty and reliable for us.

Liberty Tree Tavern was delicious when I went last year. I’m leaning towards BOG or Steakhouse 71 for this trip bc the beast is back and I’ve seen good reviews about 71.

Do you have kiddos? If so, Crystal Palace knocks out some characters.
If we aren’t in a rush, we monorail over to Epcot.

Like others I am not a fan of MK dining. We love Steakhouse 71 so it would 100% be the one I would book.
