DINNER ON CHRISTMAS PARTY NIGHT

I have a dinner reservation at Skipper's Canteen at 6 on a Christmas Party Night without a ticket. Will this be a problem? We would leave after dinner but want to get the most out of our ticket for the day.

Below was noted on "Dad's Guide to WDW"

If you have a dinner reservation at one of the restaurants after the party begins but
don't have a wristband it's no problem. If a Cast Member asks you, just tell them
about your reservation. They'll probably help you get to your restaurant. (Disney likes
it when you spend money at the restaurants.)
After you're meal you'll probably be able to browse Main Street without anyone
saying anything. Depending on the timing, you might even catch a parade of
fireworks show. That would be "terrible".

You will not have a problem making your 6pm ADR at Skipper's Canteen. The actual party does not begin until 7pm.

However, Dad's Guide is incorrect in it's statement. After the party begins at 7pm, NO ONE without a party ticket will be allowed to dine anywhere in the Magic Kingdom...reservation or not.

As well, you will not be allowed to mill around on Main Street once the party begins.

Not sure where they're getting their information on that. We've both been "escorted" out of MK after finishing dinner after the party started (a couple of times we were taken out "backstage"), and seen people being escorted out when we've had tickets. Cast members are fairly active in checking people for their party wrist bands and clearing out the people without one. Shopping on Main Street is not allowed during the party, either.

Thanks DisBuckMan. We plan on leaving after dinner as we have an early flight home in the morning. We are both 60 and not night owls anymore.
