My father and stepmother are coming to Orlando from the coast to have dinner with us while we are at Disney. He wants to eat in Orlando but I have no idea what to recommend - any suggestions for a nice dinner? There will be 5 of us (including a well behaved 5 yr old dd). One hitch - it's Mother's Day evening.

Thanks!

You have a fabulous choice for restaurants in Orlando these days, it just depends what you like.

For seafood (and sushi), try Moonfish on Sand Lake Road; for Italian, go to DiVino's at The Mercado; for wonderful Cuban cuisine, head to The Samba Room (opposite Moonfish); great steaks, try Ruth's Chris Steakhouse; for a more healthy touch, check out the new Seasons 52 (near Samba Room); then there is the eclectic Cafe Tu-Tu Tango on I-Drive; Oriental? - go for Thai Passion or the excellent Hai Feng (in the Renaissance Resort). And there are literally dozens more!! Then Old Hickory and Sunset Sam's at the Gaylord Palms are both well worth checking out, and then....................(contd. on Page 1,967!)

We like Outback Steakhouse in the Wyndham Hotel. The Butcher Shop is also very good on I-4.

We always have to visit Bahama Breeze. Great food and not too far from Downtown Disney.
