My hubby and I are wanting to try Marrakash. Has anyone eaten there? Loved it? Hated it? I was worried that I may not be able to eat much. He loves spicy, my stomach is a little more picky. Any help is appreciated. :earsgirl:

it is our favorite restaurant at epcot

the atmosphere is great....and sometimes the crowds are quite light (Ive been there twice for lunch when its not even half full)....there is live music and a belly dancer....

IMO, the food is great...Im a fan of Lamb and Ive never had better lamb in my life....the food is not necessarily spicy

the mint iced tea is amazing too

I eat there every time I go to Epcot! I love it. It is not overly spicy at all. My father hates spicy and he loves it there. I wouln't worry too much. And the atmosphere is very nice, music, belly dancing, etc.
HTH! :)

Thanks so much. I am going to call right now. I thought the atmosphere would be perfect for a romantic dinner. I am so excited. Is there a specialty glass or anything?

It isn't spicy, but Morroccan food does tend to blend savory and sweet. So they have beef brawat rools - which are like a beef eggroll topped in cinnamon and sugar. A lot of people don't like it. Think shish kabob, lemon chicken, minted lamb, currents on the beef -- and lots of couscous. I know people go here and are disappointed that Morroccan isn't spicy (Disney does tend to "dampen" spicy dishes - but we've eaten Morroccan locally and haven't found it spicy here either). Someone recently posted that they had expected curry.

We happen to really enjoy it and often end up here more than once. A belly dancer entertains.

I do know that they have specialty drinks, most of the WS restaurants do. However, even though I'm not a big beer drinker (like mixed drinks better) I always get the Casablanca beer, it's really good.

It's my fave Epcot restaurant - nothing was spicy at all, I can't tolerate even the slightest spice (hot), and I was fine with it. It's wonderful flavors and spices =)

It is a must for us everytime we go to Epcot - it is by far our favorite meal!!! Even my DD (15) who is very pciky loves it there!!! Try it!!!

Yes, we love this restaurant too. Love the brewat rolls and then there's a dessert called the bastilla (sp?), which was some flaky pastry dish with ice cream and honey. SO good!

I am interested in this too. DH and I love spicy food, but my adult ' kids ' hate it. However this year we are going not only with our ' kids ' but their other halves who love spicy food. So there is a bit of a rebellion going on! My son's girlfriend is desperate to eat in Morocco, but DS is refusing. I am paying, and I don't mind that, if the food is good, but if we are all splitting up at least I want to enjoy my meal. Is the Moroccan feast any good? Will it satisfy spicy, and non spicy eaters. If it does then I guess DH and I will eat with the kids partners, and leave DS and DD to the food court in The Lands where they can have their usual chicken strips or whatever!!!! Or we could eat at Le Cellier which would please everyone!!!!!
