The only dinner ADR that I could get for Sept. 18th. in EPCOT was in Morocco. Has any one ever eaten there? Share your thoughts please. Thanks!

We always go to Moroco for dinner. We ask for a table close to the dance floor to see the belly dancer and enjoy the music, food and service. Never a complaint from us. Even my DS 8 and DD 10 love the food. My Dh and I enjoyed a bottle of Morroccan wine, last time we were there. The belly dancer was wonderful and made my husband blush! Hope ou enjoy it too! :)

The food was fabulous! The dancer was great but she didn't dance for very long. We were probably there for a little over an hour and she danced for about 10 min.

My only complaint might be that our server didn't seem to like us! I think it might have been an American thing. We had really outgoing teenage girls with us and I think they were put off by this.

The food is OK
have to mention Sept 18th is my birthday

you can ask your server to make your meal like they have it at home (more spice, etc)...we find the food is much better if they kick it up a bit

Marrakesh is one of my favorites in the World Showcase. The restaurant is very pretty inside and the food definitely edible. Have I had better Mediterranean food elsewhere? Sure, but I've also had better steaks than those at Le Cellier, better Mexican that that at San Angel and much, much better French than at Chefs de France. I will say, however, that only DD and I prefer this restaurant. The uber-carnivores in our family like something heavier.

BTW Wendy, thanks for the tip. I never thought to ask for more traditional spices. That's my main complaint with Marrakesh. I think that would make everything much tastier. I guess they bland down the food to make it more accessible for everyone. I'm from Cajun Country and like my spices!

We ate there last year and really liked it! Everything we had, from appetizers to desserts, was fabulous! The only reason why we're not going back this year is because we wanted to try a few new places we haven't eaten at before (with the exception of Le Cellier, DH REALLY wanted to go back there).

We love it there! Always had great service and good food. I really like the entertainment (both the dancing and just the music). We try to go every single time.

Restaurant Marrakesh is my favorite. I have no clue why more people don't eat there. :confused3

Try the Beef Brewat appetizer. Sounds gross, but is very yummy. :)

If you are adventurous, they'll make you that kind of food. If you aren't, get the Lemon Chicken. It is just regular chicken once you take the skin off. :) And it comes with white rice. In the rice, you'll find a kernal of corn here, a pea there. Very easy to avoid if you (or kids) don't like veggies. :)

The belly dancer is amazing, IMO, and puts on a really good show. I like the music, nobody else I know does. It is very foreign.

I have never had a rude server there. Ever, ever, ever. They are polite and very helpful if you need anything. Well, they are when I go. Maybe they like me best. :)

The Morocco pavillion is one that not many people spend time in, but it is well worth a little time. It is beautiful!

I love this restaurant. The beef brewat rolls were great, and the bastilla is one of my favorite desserts in wdw!

We've had lunch there twice (most recently, just 2 weeks ago) and we thoroughky enjoyed the food and the restaurant/amosphere, and our servers were always very good and attentive.

I have pictures on my web site, the link is below, just click on "Disney Vacations" then look through the various Restaurants pages :)
