I would probably aim for no later than 6 pm. That gives you a good 90 minutes to eat plus wiggle room to get in line for the show. Or consider the Fantasmic dining package at one of the DHS restaurants.
It is important for you to identify the two shows about which you are asking, and
if you intend to see them on the same night.
If Fantasmic! is at 8:30 and Star Wars fireworks are at 9:00PM, you won't really be able to see both on the same night.
And, if its the Star Wars fireworks at 8:30 and Fantasmic! is at 9:00PM, it's really not a much better situation.
You may not be able to see both on the same night, even in that order.
