Dinner @ Grand Floridian Cafe Prior to MK?

If I want to have dinner at Grand Floridian Cafe prior to going to the MK for the evening, how would I do this? I assume I can't park the car at the GF and then go the MK, so would I park the car at Transportation Center, take the monorail to the GF, then take the monorail to the MK and then back to the parking lot?

I have been to Disney many times, but I have never been to the Grand Floridian (or the Wilderness Lodge) and I think this might be a nice choice for my December trip (two adults).

are you staying on property? if so, why not take the MK bus and then monorail or boat to GF for dinner? that way you would not have to worry w/the car. if you are off property, then what you stated would work.

I am staying at Coronado Springs. I always rent a car so I never use the bus system. However, maybe that is the easiest way to do it.

oh yes! taking the bus to MK would be a lot less headache! LOL!! we are just the opposite of you--never had a car, always use wdw transport

Depends on time of year. During a busy season I'd always drive over taking WDW transport to avoid waiting. You can drive to the TTC and take the resort monorail to the GF for dinner, or take the bus to MK then take the boat (the dock closest to the MK monorail station) to the GF (nice little trip by boat, FYI - I'd use the boat for at least one leg of your trip no matter what!).
