I am going to be in the MK for my birthday. Are there any suggestions for dinner in the magic kingdom or any of the surrounding resorts that would fit the dining plan that are nice and unforgettable???? I am open to all suggestions and I kind of want something different... HELP:confused:

chef Mickey's at the CR!

in the MK - crystal palace - it is lovely (the building not the buffett)

i have celebrated my 6th & 22nd birthdays at Cinderella's castle. so much fun! and they went out of their way to make me feel special. :wizard: not really 'different' though, i guess. if you are up for Victoria & Alberts, I bet they do a smashing job of celebrating!

If you want something special, I think California Grill at the top of the Contemporary Resort is great. The food is fantastic and there is a panoramic view of the Magic Kingdom. If you make your ADR to coincide with the time the MK Fireworks go off, you will also get a great view of them. It's a quick monorail ride from MK too.

We go to Victoria & Alberts almost every time we go to WDW. It is very nice but you are required to really dress for this and it's going to take several hours for your meal. Also, they do not allow children so if you have any kids in your group, this is definitely not the place for you to have a memorable meal.

We celebrated my birthday at Chef Mickeys last year and it was fun, the entire section that we were seated in sang to me along with the characters all gathering around me. THey had Mickey head confetti all over the table and a HB placemat. I also got a card.

The food on the other had was terrible!

This year my birthday falls on our departure day so we are celebrating it at the Cape May breakfast before hitting the road to go home

I celebrated my 50th bday there in March 2007 and will be doing the same in 2008! I did CG for my 29th Wedding anniversary in May but I have to say for the view and food I prefer Narcoosees!

Thanks you guys for all of the suggestions!!!! We'll be at chef mickeys the day before my birthday, but I was thiking maybe the steak restaurant in the contemporary..... any thoughts!!!
