Our plane will land in FL at 3:30 in the afternoon (In July) so not really planning on much that day just dinner someplace.....I was thinking somewhere in Epcot, I have ADRs for Le Cellier when we plan on spending the day there. In our past trips we have eaten at Rose and Crown, Alfredos, and Le Cellier. We are a family of 4~2 adults 2 DD (17 and 14) and ideas would be great.
Actually if you have any other ideas other than in Epcot please let me know

Our 1st night tradition has become our "wing it" night. We have ADR's for every other night. One year we were unable to get an ADR we wanted ahead of time. When we got to the hotel we asked at the guest desk as to what might be open for dinner that night. YEP..we got the one place we could not get way ahead of time, two hours before we ate!!!
Now we always wait, see what time we get in our room and see what we want and can get. We always get something!!!

We went to Tutto Italia our first night and got out just in time for Illuminations. It was a nice little start to our vacation without jumping full on into a park. Teppan Edo would also be a nice choice in Epcot.

A couple of other ideas...something in one of the monorail resorts so you can watch Wishes and the water parade (Ohana and 1900 Park Fare are great) or something near or around the Boardwalk so you can take a little stroll afterward. You've also got something in your resort and then swimming.

You really could go some many way with this one and be happy so whatever you decide, I hope is great!

Our tradition is do have dinner at a resort on the day of arrival. We do not go to a park the first day - we just hang out at the resort and swim and settle in. Last year we went to O'hana at the Poly - LOVED IT! This year we are doing the same. Other years we have gone to CM, Boma and WCC.

Ou first night we don't head to any parks so we always just head down to DTD to Wolfgang Express for a nice CS meal;)

My Favourite restaurant in Epcot is Garden Grille! Its in the "living with the Land" pavillion...(same building as Sorin') It is an all you can eat, although they serve you family stlye. The food is excellent!! The restaurant rotates and actually takes you through scenes of the Living with the Land ride. There are charachters there too! Mickey, Goofey and Chip and Dale! Enjoy!

Our first night, we always head to Downtown Disney and eat. This year, we are going to House of Blues.

On our arrival day we always head to MK after we check in so I try to plan an early dinner somewhere around there. In Dec we went to Chef Mickeys. It was fun to see the characters, but the food was 'meh'. Glad we did it..won't be going back anytime soon. This year I have 1900 Park Fare scheduled for our first night dinner.
