Dinner @ CRT or 1900 Park Fare?

Is there really that big of a difference? I mean i get the hype about eating at the castle, however the food wasn't that good. But how is 1900 park fare? Is it bad enough to spend 2 ts credits on the ddp for the crt? thanks

We just did both, and I doubt we will do either again.

1900 Park Fare - The characters were fun, but the food was basic cafeteria quality. The restaurant itself (at least what we saw of it) was just basic cafeteria style.

CRT - Breakfast food was good, but expensive for what it was...yes, I realize I am paying for more than just the food, but still. We all noticed that the princesses moved through very quickly. Even spoke very quickly when talking with us. It felt VERY rushed.

We've enjoyed Akerhaus in the past and will try it again if we decide to do a princess meal.

We went in December and did dinner at CRT, dinner at 1900 and breakfast at Akershus. If we were to do any of them again, it would be Akershus. It has a more relaxed atmosphere and for us, it had the same princesses as CRT did. We enjoyed 1900, especially the stepsisters, but probably wouldn't do it again in the near future. As for CRT, the novelty of eating in the castle is cool and our girls like the wishing ceremony they do, but the food is not that great and it is pretty rushed.

So, if you can do Akershus, I would recommend that. However, if you have to pick between CRT and 1900, I would consider if you want to see princesses or just the Cinderella characters.

I have done dinner at 1900 Park Fare and the Castle, the atmosphere and food was much better at the Castle. The step-sisters at 1900 Park Fare were hilarious! My daughter loved them! However, I would also choose Akershus the food is much better than the other two restaurants
