Dinner buffet during Fanstamic Show??

We went to hollywood studios this past weekend for a quick getaway. During the Fanstamic show I noticed in the back were candlelit tables and chair and what appeared to be a buffet. Did I miss something?? What was this?? Do they have dinner buffet during the Fantsmic show?? Please advise.

we just went last august and we did the fantasmic dinner package but when we did it included tickets to the fantasmic show and reservations at hollywood & vie restaurant so my guess is you didn't miss much

You can rent it out for a special event - like a wedding reception, birthday party, company party, etc. We've seen many special events during our visits to WDW over the years.

No, you didn't miss anything unless you were invited to the party There are usually CMs stationed at the edge of the private party to direct people away from it so no one wanders in to enjoy the snacks.
