Help me decide!!??!!

We have 3 little ones also.... does Sanaa have a children's menu with regular stuff on it? How about Boma?

I think you could do either with little ones. The buffet at Boma has plenty of choices for kids and those who are less adventerous eaters. Saana does have a kids menu, here is a cut/paste from allears:

For Guests Ages 9 and Under
All meals served with choice of 1% Milk, Small Bottled Water or Apple Juice

Kids' Complete Meal
Mickey's favorite meals served on a Mickey plate $7.59

Cheese Pizza - served with veggies and sliced apples

Grilled Fish of the Day - served with whole-grain pilaf, veggies, and yogurt parfait

Sanaa Kids' Picks
Choice of one appetizer, one entree, and one dessert
$7.59

Appetizers
Carrot and Celery Sticks - with honey-yogurt sauce
Creamy Tomato Soup and Cheese Toast
Mixed Fruit Salad

Entrees
Grilled Cheeseburger - with roasted potato wedges and seasonal vegetable or fruit

Grilled Chicken Breast - with whole-grain pilaf and seasonal vegetable or fruit

Meaty Macaroni - ground turkey with marinara sauce topped with mozzarella served with seasonal vegetable or fruit

Desserts
Vanilla Ice Cream

Chocolate Cake - with whipped cream

Coconut Rice Pudding - with caramel sauce

I would go with Boma. They always have seasoned potatoes, corn bread, fries, maybe I saw a pizza but I don't know for sure, vegetables, etc. Some of the adventurous food is not SO adventurous that younger kids might be apprehensive of trying. I'm talking about some of the soups, the hummus and breads, etc. Then the rest of the stuff is delicious too and the whole family can enjoy Boma ... mine does! It's a tradition. Last year we went to dinner twice and breakfast once!

We've always enjoyed our dinners at Boma! Last year, we tried Sanaa for a late lunch and it was SO GOOD!!!!! The dining room overlooks part of the savannah where the animals are kept. We saw several giraffe and a few other animals. The windows are huge - and it really looked like the animals were "right there"!!!! The animals may keep your little ones entertained!!!My DD LOVED watching the animals!!!

You can't go wrong with either one! Enjoy!!!!

As PPs have stated, I think either place would be fine. Just one consideration from past experience with little ones- buffets allow you to get them some food right away. This can be a big help if they're hungry and fidgety.

I would go with Boma if you have younger kids in your party. We had Sanaa for dinner last fall and it took over 2 hours for our meal. My son was 2 and fell asleep in our booth. I would expect this a a signature restaurant but I was disappointed in Sanaa. I am certain this is not the norm, but the food a Boma is good and you won't have long waits. As well there is a lot of variety for the kids.

I would go with Boma for the dazzle factor of the fruit and dessert pods alone, and things will be familiar! It is also somewhat boisterous, so it seems quite festive!

We have not been to Boma, but we have been to Sanaa many times. Our girls love sitting next to the window where they can see the animals. There is one crane who knows how to get around the electric fence. He came right up to our girls at the window and entertained them for a good 20min! The tables are right next to the windows, so they could hop right out of their seats and "play" with him without getting in anybody's way or bothering anyone else.

We are eating at Sanaa again on the first night of our next trip...and we will request a table next to the window. Hopefully our crane friend is still there!

Hi jraymond503,
My vote would be for Sanaa. I ate there last month and it was fantastic. I am a picky eater and I loved it. Have a great time whatever you choose. :thumbsup2

When we went to Sanaa last year, my boys were 2 and 6. They loved it!!!! My DS6 is a picky eater, and he happily ate off the kid's menu at Sanaa. He said afterwards that always wants to eat there when we are in WDW. They really liked being able to overlook the savanna as we ate even though they had a savanna view room right upstairs.

Don't get me wrong. We like Boma a lot. However, it has been replaced by Sanaa on our must-do meals.

I have three kids and I will be trying both in April. My kids are most excited for Sanna. Good luck with your choice:)
