Some friends are having dinner at Trail's End Restaurant during the very busy Christmas week. They are staying offsite so they will be driving. I normally suggest parking at Magic Kingdom and taking boat over, but they want to avoid the MK area on this particular day since it will be mobbed. If driving, how do the internal buses work? Do they park at the Outpost Depot? Which bus do they take? Thanks for any info!! :thumbsup2

It's easy. To completely avoid MK area, they should go to the DTD entrance, Buena Vista Drive. Go past DTD on the right, and turn right at the Old Key West lighthouse, Bonnet Creek Parkway. Take that to the light, past the Port Orleans, and turn left onto Vista Blvd. ThevFort entrance is on the right.

They can take any bus from the Outpost to the Settlement.

Do they know about Wishes from the beach? They pipe the music in.

From what I can recall, the last time we used the busses from the parking lot, you had to make sure you were on the correct bus as some were internal busses for the campgrounds. I can't recall if this was an issue at the lot, or just when leaving from the stop near Trail's End , or both. We did ask the driver to be sure though. Is this still the case?

All the FW internal busses the Yellow, Orange, and Purple all end up in the same place leaving the Outpost. Those busses share the same depot as the park busses at the Outpost, but are clearly marked. On the way back from the Settlement they all end up at the Outpost.
