Need some help......What is the best place to eat with two kids 10 & 6 and wife who does not eat meat. Does not have to be fancy but would like a sit down meal in the Boardwalk. Going over Christmas.
Spoodles is exactly what you are looking for. They have pasta and pizza and some "real" food too. Great location right on the Boardwalk. We have eaten there with our four kids quite a few times.
I agree - Spoodles is a great choice. Last year, we were there for breakfast and the place was empty. The chef invited our kids to come back for a tour of the kitchen - they were preparing for lunch. It was really quite a treat for them (and me too!)
Just to add another idea - the Big River Grill has GREAT salads! And, the atmosphere is good for kids too - they have good burgers and it's noisy! LOL!
They also have tables outside, where you can sit and watch the people and boats!
My two favorite restaurants in all of WDW are at the Boardwalk - Flying Fish and Spoodles. We try to eat at both on each trip. In fact, the best meal I have ever had in my whole entire life was at the Flying Fish!
Flying Fish is great, but not especially kid-friendly but you're kids are probably old enough. If you don't mind a short walk, Palio's at the Dolphin is excellent.
