Dinner at Paradiso 37 too 'rowdy' for a 15-month old?

We have 6:45 p.m. reservations there next week because we'll be coming from DAK, and I was hoping to have time to go back to AKV to chill/change before heading to DTD for the night.

However, after reading a recent review, I'm wondering if this might be too much of a bar scene for our little guy (and us!).

It depends on what elements you want to avoid. I found the music to be a little loud when we had dinner there, and that was even before the live musicians started playing. The restaurant never turned off the recorded music once the live set started, so that was distracting. I didn't feel that the patrons were very rowdy, even at the bar area. I think the restaurant is big enough that they would have no trouble accommodating you if you asked to be seated well away from the bar.

I will say, though, that I can't recommend Paradiso 37 because we thought that the food was overpriced and merely passable in quality, and the service was remarkably bad. I'll probably give them a second chance at some point in the future, but that's not high on our priority list because there are so many better restaurants from which to choose at Downtown Disney.

I really hope not,
we are planning to go with our new baby, she will only be 4 months when we are there but I love the look of the menu and hte tequila bar will definately appeal to the husband.
It wasn't there last time we were in disney, is it just the music that is loud or do people drink a little too much tequila?
We went in Cava de tequila in epcot last time we went, admittedly with no children but the people in there were all fine, it was a lively atmosphere but nothing overpowering, I was hoping paradiso would have a simlar lively yet relaxed atmosphere:confused3

On the contrary to the above post, we thought that Paradiso was a really pleasant surprise when we went there in May. If you are going during nice weather, wait for an outside table if possible. It is loud, but if you get there around sunset on a nice evening it's absolutely gorgeous.

Try the Crazy Corn, it's OUTSTANDING!!! It's also enough for a meal for one person, if I went back I'd order that for my dinner and grab a dessert as well. We had great service, the location is amazing, the margaritas are outstanding, and the food was delicious! Hope you have a great time.

They have an upstairs dining area that is well away from the bar.
Don't know if that would shield you from the music--?

I wouldn't worry about the atmosphere. We aren't talking upside down tequila shots at Señor Frog's here. I found it to be pretty calm, but I've never been at 10:00 p.m., so maybe it heats up later. But I kind of doubt it.
