i've just booked a table for mine and dbfs anniversary at ohana's but the only available time was 9.30 :scared1: i know i will be pretty hungry by then and would just like your views on ohana's coz i'm debating whether to just try and book somewhere else for a better time or if ohana's will be worth the wait :rotfl: any info would be much appreciated!!!

We ate there in December.

I nearly cancelled due to mixed reviews - but we went and had a lovely meal. We had a drink at the bar before and after - the meat was delicious.

It could be noisy if you are too near the children when they are doing the games - I wouldn't like to eat that late - you could keep checking to see if anything earlier comes up.

We have had dinner twice there. 1st time by the window, excellent server, really nice food.
2nd time last August a nightmare, got sat right in the middle next to where the "singer" does her show, hated it, worst experience ever. Really bad server trying to serve way too many tables.
Not returning this year. If you go ask to be somewhere away from the show, its worse than bad.

thanks for the tips! there does seem to be a lot of mixed reviews, im hoping an earlier time slot comes up as well but i was also considering liberty tree tavern as an alternative depending on what everyones thoughts on ohanas were :goodvibes

Liberty tree we have also been twice, have it booked for a 3rd time this August, DW's fave restaurant, her fave meal is a turkey dinner.
Our 1st visit was good, 2nd excellent, steak/beef was superb and unlimited.:cloud9:

we went to the diamond horseshoe last time which was excellent as well! i'm so indecisive when it comes to booking ADRs lol

oh wow. ohanas dinner is superb. great servers, fantastic food, everyones in a happy mood, youll love it. go !!!! enjoy the experience

After the perennially-confused check-in process at the O'Hana host station is complete... we love O'Hana for the meal experience. The mood is relaxed. The fireworks with Wishes piped in is very nice. The food is generally quite good. I must say I am usually happily full even before the skewered meats and dessert even arrives.

There is one main server, but the servers also use a tag team approach when bringing varied plates and skewers. They sometimes seem to get confused as to which table is at what part of the meal. Service has been spotty for the past 2-3 visits (we eat at O'Hana annually).

The drawback I see to 9:30pm ressie is that this meal tends to be lengthy. As long as you are on a eating schedule where you won't mind finishing near midnight you'll be fine. Enjoy!

That is how it worked on our 1st visit, 1 main server with 5-6 tables then runners with the meat skewers, all worked very well.
However last visit the 1 server we had was trying to serve 10 tables and do the meat skewers himself, you can imagine how bad the service was.

you also have to factor in the wait, i have never been seated there at the time of my reservation ...(mind u i also havent eaten that late either), all 3 times weve been weve gotten there 10 mins or so before our ressie been given pagers and had to wait, fist time only 25 mins, next time 30 mins and on xmas eve over and hour!!, so if its running late, as it usually is busy you could be seating even later.
I do however love the food there x

Hmm I've got this booked at 6.50 pm as a break from MK and plan to go back to the park for Wishes, if its going to be manic its not going to be much of a rest break...I'll have to get my thinking cap on and look for somewhere else.

i've been thinking about that and ideally don't want to be still waiting for a table after 10pm!!! me and dbf have decided to go for a character meal at crystal palace instead, we managed to get a better time and if we time it right we should be out just in time for wishes :goodvibes is there any view of wishes from CP?

if its a nice warn night catch the monorail to the resort anyhow have a walk round watch the electric parade and fireworks from the beach at the poly... i love this its so nice watching them from there, we bring a blanket and snuggle up on the chairs, kids play in the sand.
