Can anyone give me some insight on this? We have never eaten here before. Thanks for any info!

You are in for a treat! It is wonderful! We ate there in July 05 and I cannot find anything bad to say. I had the macadamia nut crusted mahi mahi, the seafood bisque and split an order of sticky wings with my aunt. All I can say is YUM YUM YUM!

And then I had kiluea torte for dessert. OMG! This is killer! Stuff yourself silly! It's worth it!

Don't forget that you can get a Lapu Lapu to. Man, they are POTENT!

We LOVED Kona!!!! My dream meal there is Crab Cakes, Pina Colada (you can get it with or without booze), Filet Mignon, and the Passion Fruit Mousse. Also, the dipping oil and the bread are yummy too. Enjoy! Wish I could go too. :sad1:

It has good food but the atmosphere of a coffeehouse. We eat there every trip but don't expect a nice quiet place. You can also get food to go. I like to call in an order, pick it up and eat in the room sometimes. Room service does not have the same wings so we get them from Kona's.

Kona Cafe is now our all time favorite!! We can't wait 'till we go back to Disney to eat there again :cloud9:

We ate there in March for the first time and absolutely loved it. I didn't think it was loud when we were there. The food is great. I can't wait to go back.

I had the crabcake appetizer and the fliet medallions, which were served over delicious mashed potatoes with a wonderful sauce. For dessert I had the macadamia nut tart - it was good but I think I would choose differently next time. All the desserts are on display so you can check them out before ordering.

Excellent food. The noise level varies according to how backed up seating for 'Ohana is.

We LOVE the Kona Cafe. Great food! You won't be disappointed.

We love the Kona Cafe! We had lunch there twice, and dinner twice, this past summer. I have some pictures of our meals, on my web site. The link is below. Scroll down the page a little until you see the Restaurants 2005 link.

We like the Kona Cafe because of the food, but also because of the casual atmosphere :)

I had the Mahi Mahi and my son had the Steak Terriyaki - they were both fantastic! Our server was very friendly and knowledgable about the menu, it was our first time there and we couldn't decide what we wanted. It was packed the night we were there between Ohana and Kona Cafe (Labor Day weekend). There was a huge storm, and people were arriving in hordes. I wouldn't say it was loud, but it wasn't a quiet, private atmosphere. I like the fact that you can get great, different food in a casual atmosphere.
