Dinner at Club33--where to change clothes?

We have 6:15 pm dinner reservations at Club 33 in a few weeks. First (and probably the only!) time at Club 33.

We're staying an hour away from the Park and planning on enjoying Park activities that day then having dinner. I'd like to be able to change clothes after enjoying the Park and *before* dinner at Club 33. Is there anywhere in the Park to do that? I suppose we could just stash nice tops/jackets in the car and head back there to update our attire before re-entering the Park for dinner...but do you have any other ideas?

Any other tips for maximizing this very-anticipated experience? Our group will include myself, DH, DS and his wife...

I would probably head to GCH and use a bathroom stall in the hotel lobby since they tend to be neater with less traffic. You can stash your change of clothes in a bag in one of the park lockers.

Typically, most use the lockers on Main St to store extra clothes, and change in the restrooms. A friend of mine wears a tux every visit. He leaves it in one of the large lockers and changes an hour or so before the visit and enjoys having people watch him as he wanders the park. My son and daughter will leave the clothes in the car (he thinks the lockers wrinkle his suits), then change in DCA. We are usually close enough to go back to the hotel and change.

This is exactly what I did when my husband and I had chef's counter reservations at Napa Rose last year! Worked great!

Storing the Club 33 outfits in a locker is a good idea, but GCH is quite a hike to use the nice bathrooms (they have floor to ceiling wood doors). I would suggest changing clothes in the bathrooms at Hungry Bear, which are quite large
Do not use the bathrooms nearest Club 33 by the train station, those are often crowded and dirty

We changed our clothes at the restrooms by the mint juleps stand, the french market. It wasn't the nicest place to go, but it was convenient and close to the club. We were staying the GCH but didn't want to leave the parks to go change then return.

we didn't think about the hungry bear restrooms and went to the restroom by the train station and your right not the best choice!! Were were so excited to be going we weren't thinking straight!

if you change in a park restroom (probably the most convenient) I suggest taking paper towels into the stall with you to stand on, the floors in the bathrooms can be pretty dirty by the end of the day (even with the frequent cleanings they get) and standing on towels will help keep your feet cleaner. That being said I'd see if you could change in the First Aid station, keep your clothes in a locker and just ask at the First Aid station if they will let you use their restroom to change, if they say no then I agree that the next best place is probably the Hungry Bear restrooms, I feel they are used less and usually cleaner. enjoy your meal, Club 33 was simply amazing when I was lucky enough to go.

We also used the lockers / bathroom combination but used the ones over by DCA Lost and Found / Guest Services. Always quite clean and rarely crowded.

We used the New Orleans Square bathrooms to change for our fabulous lunch, and yes, while convenient, they aren't the nicest. And they do get crowded.

Hungry Bear would have been a much better idea.
