Give me some reviews on Cindy's castle for dinner....want to take DD for 16th birthday....

Six of us ate there two weeks ago and everyone loved it. Among us we had the Earl's Poulet, Kingdom Feast, Salmon and Lamb. Everyone had the field greens salad (has sauteed musrooms, stilton cheese and walnuts, I think). Everyone was very happy with their food. Walt's Apple Custard is our favorite dessert there. We had a very nice server and the Castle atmosphere is the best.

If you time it right, you can see, hear and "feel" the Wishes fireworks show.

Happy birthday to your DD.

Wonderful! CRT is one of my two must do meals in the World. Actually the last two trips we ate dinner there twice. The Kingdom Feast is my favorite!

OK, here comes the negative vote. We ate there Nov. 26, and were disappointed from start to finish. It began with check-in, where there were two CMs standing in front of computers, and both of them were helping people make PSs for some future date. Maybe I'm spoiled, but I don't think it's right if we have a PS, to have to wait to check in behind those who are just making a PS.
The food was average, our server made several mistakes, and the atmosphere just didn't make up for it. We won't be back.
Obviously this is just my opinion, and despite what I said, dining in the castle is something that eveyone should try at least once (though I have to say that we have been happier with breakfast there than with dinner!):D

:D

I ate at CRT for the first time during my last visit to WDW and I loved it. I had a chicken dish that was one of the best meals that I had during my 12 day visit. I'm definitely going to make every attempt to eat there again in the future.

I love dinner at CRT.. It's one of my favorites. I love the Grand Duke steak... It's delicious! Ask for a seat by the window. :earsboy:

Dinner at Cinderella's Castle is a great experience. The food itself is good, but nothing particularly special. However, the atmosphere is spectacular! When we went we both had the prime rib which came with a root smash (mashed potatoes with other root veggies mixed in). Service was terrific--they called us "lord" and "lady". :teeth: It definitely seems like a great birthday spot. We went for our anniversary and they decorated our table with "pixie dust" and gave us souvenir wine glasses to take home.

Did anybody ever have the "glass slipper smoothie"? My DDs really want one each. You get to take the container home, but it seems like a lot for $8. Worth it?

I have not had the smoothie yet. But I have seen the glass and it is pretty. It's a mug. After you see the glass it makes the price sound better.

Does anyone have a picture of the "glass slipper" mug? I have read about this but can not invision what it would look like. We are planning a lunch in the castle.

It's not a glass "slipper" - it is a glass SIPPER mug. Very misleading on Disney's part. It's a tall glass mug with Cinderella's Royal Table etched on the front. It's very pretty! The smoothie itself was too sweet/rich for my taste, but I love the glass mug!

And here I had a vision of my daughter slipping out of The Actual Glass Slipper! Oh, darn!!!!! The mug does sound pretty, though, and since a glass slipper smoothie was promised, a glass slipper smoothie shall be delivered!

I'm sorry to say I have to side with CarolynK. We dined at CRT on Wednesday December 3rd. While I cannot deny that the atmosphere is magical and sitting near the window to watch Wishes was spectacular, this does not make up fully for the fair to poor service and the mediocre and WAY overpriced food. We were at Disney 10 days and we had many sensational meals on property, unfortunately this one is at the bottom of the list.
I'll be posting full trip reports and dining reviews as soon as I can.

I was there on October 30th. This was my first visit and we had dinner. It was WAY better than I expected and I am very picky. We had the Kingdom Feast, The Queens cut Prime Rib and Bananas Foster Cheesecake. The food was REALLY good and the service was excellent. I recommend a trip.

its not even the glass sipper...its the bibbidi boppity brew...

its hard when you're working the podium to just brush off a guest cuz they're at the wrong computer (one is the PS computer and one is the Check-In)...actually, we're not supposed to.....it wouldn't make sense to make everybody go line up at one while the other CM wasn't doing anything.....
