We will have dinner at CM at 6:40 pm. Spending the day at MK; staying off-site so not eligible for EMH that night.

Trying to figure out should we (1) drive to the Contemporary or (2) take the monorail from MK then go back there to get in our car after dinner. Any suggestions about what time to leave MK would be greatly appreciated.

Also, how long do you usually spend at CM for dinner?

Hi,

A couple of things...

1) You won't be able to leave your car at the CR all day while at the MK. Guests can not park at resorts all day, there is a time limit.

2) If you drive to the MK you will need to park at the TTC. So you will either have to take the monorail or walk from the MK to the CR for dinner. Then if you are going right to your car after dinner you will need to take the monorail from the CR to the TTC.

Travel time from the MK to the CR will depend on how fast you walk, how long you have to wait for a monorail (if you decide to take the monorail rather than walk), and what time the MK closes that night. I would say you should aim to be walking through the exit turnstile by 6:15.

Thanks for the info Bob.

We'll be parked at MK during the day; just need to decide if we'll drive over to CR or take Monorail to and from CR.

It's an easy 10 minute walk to CR entrance lobby from the MK gates, so I'd allow at least 30 minutes for a.) getting upstairs and checking in at the poduim, and b.) a bathroom stop if you choose to walk. After dinner you could jump on the monorail for TTC and collect your car.

Moving your car would depend on how long a wait for the boat or monorail, parking at CR and finding your way to the restaurant. Time would be variable depending on crowds, park closing times, traffic, etc. They will usually give you a window placard to display for a 2 or 3 hour time limit while dining when you check in at the parking lot entrance.

It will be much quicker to just hop on the monorail or walk to CR from MK. Then you can take the monorail from CR to TTC to get your car.
