Do you need to call the Grand Gathering number for this? or could the regular CMs make one for this many people?

Good question! I assumed that I could call the regular number.

I don't know either. I always assumed that GG was for people who were traveling together, like for a family reunion or something. The on-line dining page says to call for parties larger than 10. Vanessa, didn't we have more than 10 at CP last year? How did you make that one?

I think I made it for 12 people through the regular dining number. However, with a party of 21 I just wondered if he might have better luck going through the Grand Gathering number.

So far!!! Confirmed guest are 21... but just in case a few might see the thread and might wantt o join.. then 25 is good

Candice! It sounds like there is going to be alot of DISers there that week. Plus don't forget they are also having free dining or good AP discounts. Then add in all the Christmas decorations, CP, MVMCP, Osbourn Lights, and nice cool weather. It's a perfect time to go. Who can resist WDW at Christmas? Now come on, you know you want to be there for the festivities!

Is anyone staying at AKL interested in the new Manyama Safari? We watched them ride through the savanna, and it looked really great. It's pretty pricey at $170, but it includes the tour of the savanna with a naturalist and dinner at Jiko! RedbudLover and I thought we might do it on the 14th.

If you want to do it on the 14th let me know. I was thinking about doing it on the 7th, but I could easily change to the 14th if you are going. However, I think that the cost is more like $210 if you are not on CL.

Hi everyone! Well today was my 90 day point and I called and was able to get all of my ADRs except for Boma. Since our group is so large, you have to call Boma directly. So I did call and leave a message and am now waiting for them to call me back.

If you talk to Kevin, tell him it's for Jamie, his fellow east Texan's, birthday party that we talked about Thursday night! If you talk to someone else, tell them that Kevin knows about it. Yes, I made some important contacts on this trip, including one of the Jiko managers. Kevin is one of the Boma managers and should be working this evening.

The only problem with the 14th for me is that I will be on the Wonder for my 90 day point. Maybe I will book the 7th and then move it to the 14 after my cruise.
